At Yamada, we are moving forward to design and establish flexible production systems that can respond to our customers needs for small lot, multi-model manufacturing through the introduction of CAD/CAM, industrial robots, FMS, SIM and other advanced production technologies and the utilization of flexible and varied production systems. Production know-how accumulated over many years is being combined with the latest production technology to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse and demanding market.
The core of this manufacturing system is specially made production equipment internally developed, from hardware to software, and manufactured through the utilization of the equipment design technology accumulated by the Engineering division. From small scale jigs to large scale transfer machines, the ratio of Yamada made production equipment exceeds 70%.
Additionally, many of the dies used in Yamada die casting, sintering and resin molding processes have been made in-house. From production equipment to dies, this system makes it possible to cover many of the production processes in-house and leads to Yamada productsÕ high reliability, equipment efficiency and outstanding manufacturability.
