The research and development division is the R&D center for developing the above mentioned Yamada core technologies and is comprised of the following: Research block which carries out research and development for new products, research of materials and the testing and evaluation of products; Development block which pursues product design and improved manufacturability through 'improvement development' and test evaluations, etc. up until the start of mass production; Development Management block which manages the product development and promotes the human resource training of associates.
